Our resident big boy these days is named Tiny! This not-so-tiny 82 lbs brindle mixed breed boy is estimated to be around 1 year old. He came to PAC in need of a second chance from a high volume shelter in the south. When he arrived, he was 20 lbs thinner- can you imagine?! Tiny is feeling great now and ready to move in with an experienced, dog-loving home that can handle an extra large, energetic boy like him.
Tiny’s strong on the leash and still jumps a lot for attention- when he jumps on you he’s over 5 feet tall! So a capable handler ready to use gentle, force-free training methods on him is being sought to continue the work started by PAC staff. Tiny’s initial excitement for walks can make him hard to handle but with a little time and patience he’s now walking nicely for longer and longer. He enjoys our daily “sniffari’s” where we walk in a quiet area with no particular path in mind- we just let his nose direct us where to go next.
A home in a quiet area with space to wander would be most ideal, in a home with adults where he can be the only pet. Tiny listens well to cues like sit, find it, drop it (most of the time LOL) and is learning others like down & heel. He is ready for his forever home – up to date on vaccines, neutered & microchipped.

P.S. Someone is so excited for Tiny to find his fur-ever home, that they have sponsored his adoption fee! That means he can join your family today for FREE!

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
