Pretty in pink? Why yes, that’s how my friends here at Providence describe me. The truth, is, I’ve never really been a part of the in-crowd. But that’s ok, I’ve been told that being “different” is what makes me unforgettable.
I am a sweet, smart, and spunky 1 year old who weighs in at about 26 lbs. and what I wish for the most is a patient fur-ever home that will believe in me and help build my confidence so that I continue to believe in myself. My friends here have been helping me realize that the world isn’t such a scary place after all, and I have found my happy place in quiet walks and hikes where I can sniff and decompress.
My dream home would have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. Crowds are not my thing, so no city life or apartment living please. I am looking for a calm home with a family who’d love to have a doggy BFF to be active with daily and where I’d shine as the only pet. While I’m making positive strides with the current man in my life (my wonderful foster dad!), I’m just most comfortable around females and probably wouldn’t mind a girl pal to be buds with (high school age & up).
I enjoy playing with my stuffed toys and throwing them in the air and catching them. Who knows, you may have a star player in the works just in time for opening day of baseball. Just like any star rookie, with a little bit of time and dedication, you will see my full potential blossom.
I am lucky enough to be staying in a fabulous foster home while I wait for my forever family to find me. So, if you are interested in more information about me and/or would like to set up a meeting with me, please send a completed adoption profile to firstname.lastname@example.org today! We hope to hear from you soon! XO Laurie
P.S. A generous donor is eager to help me find my forever home, so they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE! YAY!

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
